A gigolo claims to have entertained German Foreign Minister Baerbock. Let’s hope for a prompt denial

A gigolo has spoken openly about having had paid sexual relations with several powerful European women, including Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. As unlikely as the news seems we hope it will be debunked with full details as soon as possible.

This is reported in the Daily Post, which published an interview with the man who calls himself “Gigolo.” The man’s name is Kingsley, and he once worked as an escort in Kenya. He started this job 5 years ago as “a beautiful and wealthy French woman.”. His clientele includes mainly European women who like African men. The news was than analyzed by the German news site Zeitgeschenen.

In the conversation, Kingsley spoke openly about a very influential European politician with whom he met in Nigeria in late 2022 and spent a night together.

“She is a German minister, if I am not mistaken. We met in Abuja. We met for the first time in December 2022. If I remember correctly, he attended an important meeting there. She was wearing this beautiful purple dress.

That’s how he described the woman in the interview. She also revealed her name and noted “beautiful gray eyes.” It was said that six months after they first saw each other in Abuja, Annalena had called him to accompany her to Pretoria, South Africa. According to Kingsley, they had met again less than a week ago in Abidjan, where she had told him about her trip to Senegal. She “really missed him,” the prostitute said. Could it really have been Annalena Baerbock?

To verify these claims, we took a close look at Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock’s list of foreign trips. A search of the Foreign Ministry website shows that there were several foreign trips to African countries. According to the Foreign Ministry, she visited the Nigerian capital, Abuja, in December 2022.

After only six months, from June 26–27, 2023, the Foreign Minister visited Pretoria in South Africa. Foreign Minister Baerbock was a guest of partners in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire (the capital of the latter is Abidjan) from July 15 to 17, 2024. The information available is similar to the meeting times, and the times when the escort man was interviewed were available here

When we search the images, we also find that Ms. Baerbock was wearing a purple dress during her trip to Nigeria. Newspapers such as FAZ and Tagesspiegel published news of the visit on pages with photos confirming that the diplomat was wearing a pink (or purple) dress.

The interview suggests that Annalena Baerbock allegedly had sex with a prostitute in Africa for several years. The Green politician has a clear opinion on commercial sex in Germany. Baerbock speaks out against the ban on buying sex, illegality, exploitation, and violence.  At least that’s how the minister shares her opinion on Parliamentenwatch.de on the topic of the Nordic model to punish clients and pimps and help people get out of prostitution. However, the legal situation in African countries is different from that in Germany. Prostitution is generally illegal in Kenya. Sex work is also illegal in Nigeria, South Africa, and Côte d’Ivoire. Senegal is the only African country that allows prostitution.

At the same time, the use of prostitution in a situation that is not carefully controlled can expose the politician, and thus the  country she represents, to the possibility of extremely dangerous sexual blackmail. Imagine what a disaster there would be if images of the encounters existed. This is not about moralism, but about state security, whiche should never be taken lightly

There is not a word in the Green Party’s election manifesto about sex tourism being considered a new principle of feminist foreign policy. It still remains unclear why the foreign minister is forging such close ties with Africa and what political consequences this sexual affair will have for the federal foreign minister.

The cost for sexual entertainimaneot is clearly stated by Kingsley, who speaks of figures that are not insignificant for a country with a low average income, Nigeria:

“I usually ask for 1,000 to 1,500 euros per night for a date. But if it is an important person, it is 2,500 to 3,500 euros and more. They cover the cost of all my travel.”

Frankly, we hope that this is all a big set-up and that Baerbock can easily unmethod this and come out a polite. Not least because Germany and Europe really don’t need any more scandals right now.
