Biden is saved from empeachment only because there is no time and he no longer matters

The GOP-led congressional committees investigating the Biden family announced in a 291-page report that the president engaged in impeachable conduct by helping to enrich his family with millions of dollars through various business schemes to exploit the family name—and then defrauded voters by lying to cover it up, as Just the News reports.

According to the 291-page report reviewed by Just the News, the House Oversight, Ways and Means, and Judiciary committees said they believe the evidence from the nine-month investigation shows that Biden abused his office and violated oaths taken under the Constitution.

Of course, this would have been infinitely more helpful even just a few months ago, when the GOP-controlled House had time to act (particularly before the Justice Department concluded that Biden is too senile to be prosecuted), but hey, better late than never.
“First, overwhelming evidence shows that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family,” the report reads.

“Among other aspects of this conspiracy, the Biden family and its business associates received tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests, inducing them to believe that such payments would grant them access to and influence over President Biden.”

Specifically, Biden and his family are accused of:

Foreign payments: The Biden family allegedly received more than $27 million from foreign sources, often through shell companies, and some funds came directly into Joe Biden’s bank account.

Engagement in Burma: Hunter Biden received a $1 million annual salary from the Ukrainian business Burisma, utilizing his clout to back the business and purportedly wrap up corruption probes.

CEFC China Energy: Hunter Biden received an “interest-free” loan of $5 million from entities related to CEFC China Energy, intended to benefit the Biden family.

Vice Presidential Influence: Joe Biden allegedly used his position as Vice President to support his son’s foreign business ventures by meeting or speaking with his son’s business partners in Ukraine, China, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

3.5 million from a Russian oligarch: Hunter Biden’s companies received $3.5 million from Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina shortly before a meeting between her and Joe Biden.

$8 million in donor loans: The Biden family allegedly obtained more than $8 million in loans from Democratic donors, including nearly $6 million from entertainment lawyer Kevin Morris, to cover various personal expenses of Hunter Biden.

DOJ Favoritism: IRS whistleblowers alleged that the Justice Department gave Hunter Biden preferential treatment, blocking investigations and hiding evidence to avoid charges.

According to Just the News, the committee cited evidence showing that Biden “actively participated” in an influence-peddling conspiracy by attending dinners with his family’s foreign associates and talking to them on the phone. Email correspondence and testimony from a number of Hunter Biden’s former business associates, including Devon Archer and Jason Galanis, served as documentation of these exchanges.

In addition to Biden’s conduct as vice president, the report alleges that the Justice Department, during his presidency, deviated from normal practices to provide favorable treatment to Hunter Biden by placing obstacles in the way of investigations and preventing prosecutors from pursuing certain avenues of inquiry, as two IRS whistleblowers testified to the House Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs. -Just News

The report also alleges that Biden engaged in a cover-up by lying about his and his family’s conduct.

“Chairman Joe Biden conspired to commit trafficking in influence and fraud,” the committees wrote. “In doing so, he abused his office and, by repeatedly lying about his abuse of office, defrauded the United States to enrich his family.”

As JTN notes, the report is unlikely to result in a formal impeachment since Biden has withdrawn from the 2024 race and is heading into January 2025 as a useless and secondary figure
