In France hunters assaulted by large group of machete-armed irregular migrants

they thought they were going hunting, but instead they had to rush away. Three hunters who had settled into their hut on the Tardinghen marsh, near Pas de Calais, to hunt ducks saw about 60 very violent migrants arrive. It was about 4 a.m. Some were armed with machetes and iron bars.

The attacking migrants tried to violently enter the hunting lodge, but the door behind which the hunters had barricaded themselves held. They then attacked their cars, destroying them, and decapitated the ducks. Fortunately, the hunters, who were obviously armed, remained exemplarily calm in their stormed shelter. A young person was also with one of the hunters.

Is this the first instance of migrants attacking hunters?

No, it is not the first time that migrants have attacked hunters in the area, but the authorities seem to be disinterested in public order and citizen safety! Since Calais has become the hub for migrants wanting to cross the Channel, hunters regularly alert the police when they spot overflowing boats ready to set sail. So by now migrants try to intimidate and chase away the hunters using any means.

On Saturday, when one of the boats was stopped by police, the migrants, furious at being alerted, retaliated and returned to the dunes of Tardinghen to hunt down the hunters. The situation is becoming more and more dangerous and it is only a matter of time before a death occurs. Then it will be too late.
