Sharia in France: Bakers afraid to use pork in their products

France is losing its traditions, including its food traditions, under the ever-increasing pressure of Muslim immigrants to impose their religion.

After an altercation in his store in Vénissieux (Rhône), Alexandre Dallery, a French baker, decided to stop making and selling pork products this Friday, August 16, according to Le Parisien newspaper.

Early that morning, one of his sales assistants offered “Muslims” a quiche with lardons, “thinking it was made with cheese”, he explained on his social networks. After realizing the shopkeeper’s mistake, the two men returned “very violently” to the bakery.

“If I’m not there, I think they grab her by the hair and smash her,” detailed the entrepreneur, who tried to reimburse the two individuals. They then took the bill and threw it at the saleswoman. “They wanted to burn and break everything. To calm things down, we don’t make ham anymore. Otherwise, they’ll burn everything,” announced a resigned Alexandre Dalleryé. A Les Républicains (LR) town councillor, the baker admits he has “never had this much trouble” with Muslim customers. While he understands the two men’s anger, he deplores the way it was expressed.

The controversy was widely relayed and commented on on social networks, particularly among right-wing politicians. “Laissera-t-on Vénissieux devenir un califat?””Will we allow Venisseux to become a caliphate?” wrote MEP Marion Maréchal on her X account. Former Reconquête candidate in the European elections, Damien Rieu, meanwhile, denounced “sharia is growing and flourishing” in the town bordering Lyon.
