Do you have anything to say about the CETA treaty: it’s the last days

The European Commission periodically holds consultations to find out how the measures it is taking are going. Obviously, these are non-binding surveys, but why not try, at least, to have your say? Maybe it will not be respected; almost certainly it will be disregarded, but, if nothing else, your opinion will remain recorded for posterity.

One of the ongoing consultations is on the efficacy and effects of CETA, the free trade treaty that comes to bind the EU with Canada and which was feared by many to be a kind of pick to get North American, not just Canadian, products into Europe. Others disapproved of it because it would allow the protection of trademarks and product names.

However, if you want to have your say, as consumers or as associations and companies, you can do so by signing up at the following link, whose login page we showed you.

And if you don’t, please don’t complain later.
